Shawangunk Wine Trail:  Wine Tasting and Picnic Hike

Come and join us as we explore the Shawangunk Wine Trail in the Hudson Valley Region.
On the Trail we will find the fine winemaking established by the early French Huguenot
settlers who brought their wine making expertise to this valley over 300 years ago.

Each winery is unique in character, small to medium in size, all proud of their well crafted red and white wines that range from bone dry to dessert sweet.
You will find sparkling wines, vinifera and French/American varietals and blends, and even some beautifully made fruit wines.
After the first two wineries, we'll hike around Lake Minnewaska and have a picnic lunch (enjoy bottles of wine and cheese!). 
Round up the day, we will visit one or two more wineries - depending on time - before heading back to NYC.

Meeting / Departure:
9.15 am Upper East Side
9.30 am Upper West Side
Returning:  ca. 5.30 pm

Cost: $55
Included: r/t Transport from Manhattan. Tasting at 2 wineries (5 wines at each), 

Optional 3rd and 4th wine yard can be added after lunch.

For you to bring: Picnic, Bread, Cheese, Sandwiches, Water, as desired...
